Jennifer Costello ~ Owner
Jennifer has been officiating weddings for thirteen years. She originally became ordained as one of her Catholic friends was marrying her Buddhist fiancée and having a hard time incorporating both belief systems into a ceremony. She went through the steps to become ordained in order to marry them and then enjoyed it so much she started offering her services to other couples.
Jenn has been married for 15 years and has two beautiful daughters. As an October bride, she has a special place in her heart for her fall couples! Her daughters love weddings also and want to be officiants when they grow up!
As a former English teacher, she loves putting her love of writing to use creating custom ceremonies, very often blending multiple belief systems, family values, blended families, blending of the sands, hand fasting ceremonies, to name a few. However, she also does traditional ceremonies if that is what our couples desire. Her passion is getting to know her couples and writing their love stories!

Officiant ~ Tara Freitag
Tara is from Victor, NY and resides with her husband Greg , their beloved dog, Lucy and newborn daughter, Aubrey. As a recent bride, she knows how important it is to have a strong team of vendors to execute your magical day. She loves to dance and teaches as an adjunct dance professor at Genesee Community College in Batavia. She has been teaching first wedding dances to multiple couples for over 10 years. She got ordained in early of 2020 and always had a passion for weddings. Tara is highly motivated and always carries a smile on her face.
Officiant ~ Rebecca Dodge
Born and raised in the town of Hilton, Rebecca is proud to call Western New York home. In 2015, Rebecca launched Untamed Elegance. A spray tanning service for any and all occasions, Untamed Elegance uses all organic solutions for weddings, proms, photo shoots, vacations, and body building competitions. In 2017, she launched Untamed Events, Rochester’s premiere event planning services. She has worked on various benefits raising thousands of dollars for the Just Breathe Foundation, Operation Build Up, the Alzheimer's Association, Golisano Children's Hospital, and the Mia Foundation, to name a few. Rebecca places an emphasis in team-building and management for creating successful events. Despite the success, she still takes pride in being a mother, and friend as this will always be where her heart lies.
Rebecca takes joy in building and maintaining one-to-one relationships with clients {and vendors} and places a high value on the level of trust placed in her hands. Whether it’s in her salon getting ready for the big day or asking her to create and coordinate or officiate it, Rebecca takes pride in ensuring every step of the process is seen with detail, kindnesses and compassion and the final product is nothing shy of a masterpiece!
Officiant - Bri DeLorenzo
Bri started with us as a bride who fell in love with everything wedding. She hired Jenn to officiate her ceremony and they immediately hit it off. After planning her own magical day, she decided she wanted to join the wedding world and relive it over and over again! Bri began officiating in 2018 and loved every minute of it. She loves having a front row seat to the power of love! In 2020, Bri, her husband, Tony, and their furbaby, Paisley moved to Naples, FL. However, after a year in the sun, they decided to move back to snowy Rochester to be closer to family. We are so excited to welcome her back to J. Costello Wedding Officiants!
Officiant ~ Sean Costello
A Rochester native, Sean grew up in Henrietta, NY before settling in Webster with his wife, Jenn. He is an assistant principal by day and enjoys officiating the occasional wedding on the weekends, as long as they're not scheduled during Bills games - Go Bills! Sean is a huge sports fan and loves cheering on the Yankees, Sabres and Bills - and his daughters as they participate in football, softball and elite cheerleading. He has an amazing sense of humor and will be sure to have you laughing, feeling comfortable and relaxed on your big day!
